TRY THIS EXTENSIVE INTERVAL SESSION

The aim of this weeks conditioning session is to get you running a little faster than your normal continuous 5km pace.
Getting faster requires you to run fast and this session gets this process started.
These aren’t the all out maximal efforts you would see in shorter intervals or TABATA’s.
But they work the system hard - so it should feel challenging.
The Session:
5Ă—1km intervals
2-3 minutes rest between intervals.
RPE - Looking at about 70-80% of max.
Complete 1-2 sets.
This session exposes you to higher intensity running interspersed with periods of rest.
It will challenge you - that is what we want.
