WHY YOU STRUGGLE TO COMPLETE SESSIONS
450 words | 1 min 38 sec read

To achieve the best results possible you need to be training at least twice per week.
This will allow you to stimulate each muscle group a sufficient amount to grow muscle and develop strength.
But a common trend I see is that people struggle to train enough on their own each week to achieve the results that they desire.
One of the major reasons this occurs is because they lack the planning and structure at the start of the week to be successful.
And so your week becomes reactive and you end up putting out fires on a daily basis instead of ticking boxes and completing the things you need to be doing.
Training then becomes less of a priority.
But life will always be unpredictable.
So nothing will change if nothing changes.
Use Sunday evening, or latest Monday morning, to open your calendar for the coming week:
Identify opportunities where you can get to the gym or be active
Identify when you can complete your runs
Will you be traveling this week?
Can you prepare your nutrition in advance?
Can you identify opportunities to eat healthily instead of being reactive and grabbing a greggs because its easy.
“If you get one percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done.”
Planning your week is this 1%.
Planning your week helps you establish a routine and makes it easier to stick to your training schedule.
Planning allows you to set specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound (SMART) goals for each week.
Planning your week helps you allocate time efficiently, ensuring that you can fit them into your busy schedule without feeling overwhelmed.
Knowing what to expect from your week can help you mentally prepare, keeping you motivated and focused.
It may seem small, but its impact over time can be profound.
