THREE IDEAS TO START THE WEEK

379 words | 1 min 23 sec read

The path to reaching your potential is undulating - we have ups and downs, its a non-linear process.

So here are three ideas to set the intentions for the week ahead:

“With great responsibility, comes great power.”

Mark Manson

The more we accept responsibility for the problems we face, the more in control we are and the more likely we are to solve them.

Mark Manson said it best, “Responsibility is present tense. Responsibility results from the choices you’re currently making every second of every day.”

Take control of your journey by taking responsibility and executing on the actions you know you need to be doing to move the needle forwards.

“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

Socrates

It is a privilege to move your body each day.

A privilege to work towards the goal(s) that you have set yourself.

We have a finite amount of time to reach our potential, it is time to become the best version of you and achieve your impossible.

Fitter, faster, stronger.

“Excellence was never an accident. That excellent outcomes were the result of the wise choice of many alternatives.”

Matt Haig

On days that you don’t feel motivated, understand that this is a part of the process.

If it was easy everyone would achieve it.

Keep showing up when you’re not 100% motivated.

Because the fact you choose to spend your time chasing this goal as opposed to doing many other things…

is what makes the journey, and the accomplishment of the goal, so special.

“There is a lot of information out there on fat loss that I find it overwhelming, what’s the best diet?”

Anonymous

The best diet is the one that you can stick to.

There’s many approaches to fat loss..

Keto, fasting, carnivore - lots of different diets.

They all have one thing in common…

They create an energy/calorie deficit.

It is this energy deficit that drives fat loss.

So pick an approach that works for you, hit your calorie and protein targets consistently..

Don’t be too restrictive, consume the foods you enjoy in moderation.

But stay disciplined.
